Job Description

SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER Harvey Nash\'s client is a high-profile business in their industry and part of a successful international group. Their ongoing growth in a particular business-stream means there is now an exceptional opportunity to a Senior Finance Manager to join their leadership team based in Farnborough. You will lead financial strategy to win new business and provide financial management of existing programmes, ensuring the accuracy & timeliness of programme financials in line with accounting standards, disclosure statements and procedures.

You can expect your core responsibilities to include: Ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting Maintaining programme performance measurement baseline and earned value management systems Ensuring the completion of financial statements, forecasts, plans, programme reviews, monthly operating reviews and EAC are completed in line with policies and procedures The successful candidate will come with an excellent understanding of financial principles (Qualified Accountant or equivalent), and a track record in strategic and commercial financials management. You will also have experience of using the role of finance as both a business partner and a custodian. You will be an excellent critical thinker, with an understanding of business drivers and a decisive nature. Your experience should include: Earned Value management, Programme controls, accounting and forecasting Working on a major development programme (£50m+) in a business facing position Working within a rapidly changing and growing business environment Supporting the integration of commercial and financial models Bid proposal response experience, demonstrating innovation and creativity to support the bidding proposal MPM and Winsight tools, or similar programme management toolsets In return, as well as the opportunity to take up a position of key strategic importance with an industry leader and global player, you can expect a highly competitive package including basic salary of £75-95k + excellent benefits To apply email your CV to Paul Miller at Harvey Nash ( (see below) )
