Job Description
Professional strategic sales manager to join the global leader in informed travel choice. Ideally you will have built your experience within the major corporate travel players and have a thorough understanding of the corporate travel sector. You will have a proven track record of succeeding within a complex solution orientated sales environment.
You may be a UK focused sales professional looking to take the next step in your career, branching into EMEA wide sales.
This role will cover EMEA, with up to 35% Travel.
Individuals in this role will engage in building and maintaining, senior relationships across the Fortune 500 stakeholder chain, operating across procurement through to finance, and ensuring that my clients portfolio of Global products are positioned at the forefront when making decisions surrounding their global travel programs - thereby securing every opportunity to penetrate corporate/established relationships with competitors.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must have demonstrated skill in closing complex deals that require interface with other functional and management groups with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously. This individual must be detail oriented, organised and dependable. The candidate will have the ability to handle multiple priorities, possess a high degree of flexibility, and work well with others in a team environment. Must take initiative and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to change direction.
Demonstrable financial & business acumen
Demonstrable Sales & Account Management experience.
Highly effective, persuasive and artful communicator.
Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ideally you will possess European language skills
Comprehensive travel industry knowledge and networking contacts.
Demonstrated experience in business process development, review and implementation.
Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.
Ability to interact at board level.
Results oriented. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadline oriented projects simultaneously
Self-motivated
Team Player
Ability to travel with overnight stays.
